Latest experiment
Not sure what it is about me lately but I can't seem to focus on traditional mosaics anymore. I just keep getting these strange ideas about experimenting instead. My latest piece is something I started last summer and then got stuck. I found the coolest cardboard pieces attached to a new dishwasher and thought, turn them into a frame! So I did.
Then walking around Home Depot I found the coolest hemp rope and thought, a tree!
The piece is finished and hanging at the BBAC in Bloomfield hills, Mi at our MAM art exhibit. I will post a picture of it as soon as I am able to take a good one.

Van Singel show in Grand Rapids

This was one of two windows that I just dropped off for a fundraiser for MORC called “Windows of Opportunity”. The event will take place at the MORC Clinton Township grounds on Saturday, Sept 12 from 10 am to 3 pm. A preview reception will be held Friday, Sept 11 from 6 to 8 pm on the grounds as well.
The windows came from houses that were tore down so it was kind of cool and kind of sad at the same time. I have no idea where either of mine came from.
